Marty Fischbein, who had been in the retail furniture, television and appliance industry for over 30 years grew frustrated with the tedious and time-consuming tasks associated with his daily operations. Knowing there had to be a better solution, Marty started a search for an automated system that would be easy to use and powerful enough to handle the daily operations of his furniture store. He wanted the data to be quickly available and easily manipulated to provide answers to any problem. Not finding an answer, Marty set out to develop his own system for his own use. However, word quickly spread throughout the local furniture market that Marty had developed a powerful yet easy to use program and Furniture Wizard Software was born.
